1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Lady NoKids® ("LNK," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Lady NoKids mobile application, our website at lady-nokids.com, and our related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: email address and password (stored in hashed form)

• Profile information: first and last name, date of birth, city and region, occupation, referral source, interests, and profile photo

• Community activity: community memberships, posts, comments, reactions, and pinned content

• Connections: connection requests (including optional notes), private messages, and images you send through messaging

• Invitations: when you invite someone to connect, we collect their email address so we can send the invitation on your behalf

• Events: events you create or attend, RSVPs, event invitations, and virtual meeting links you choose to share

• Preferences: email update opt-in, push notification settings, and profile visibility choices for your last name and age

• Safety actions: members you block

• Support: information you send when you contact us through Share Feedback in Settings

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and app data: device type, operating system, and app version needed to deliver the Service

• Push notification tokens: if you enable push notifications, we store a token so we can send alerts to your device

• Authentication data: a secure session token stored on your device so you stay signed in

• Server logs: basic technical logs such as request timestamps and IP addresses for security and troubleshooting

We do not collect precise GPS location. Location in your profile is the city and region you select from our list, not continuous device tracking. We do not collect phone numbers through the app.

2.3 Age Verification
We collect your date of birth to confirm you meet our 18+ eligibility requirement. We use date of birth for age verification and account eligibility. Other members see your age only according to your profile visibility settings — not your exact date of birth.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and profile

• Operate communities, discussions, connections, messaging, and events

• Apply your profile visibility and notification preferences

• Send account-related emails such as verification and password reset messages

• Send optional marketing and community updates if you opt in to email communications

• Deliver push notifications you have enabled on your device

• Keep the community safe, including reviewing reported content, enforcing our Terms and Community Standards, and responding to legal obligations

• Improve and maintain the Service

 

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.

4.1 With Other Members
Other members can see information you choose to share in the app, including your profile details, community posts and comments, and event participation, subject to your profile visibility settings. Private messages are visible to you and the members in that conversation. Please use good judgment when sharing personal information with other members.

4.2 With Service Providers
We share information with trusted providers that help us operate the Service, including:

• Cloudflare — application hosting, database storage, media storage, and transactional email delivery

• Expo — push notification delivery to your device

• GoHighLevel (Lead Connector) — contact management; when you complete onboarding, we sync your email address and name so we can communicate with you about Lady NoKids

These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services to us.

4.3 For Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Lady NoKids, our members, or others. This includes cooperating with law enforcement and, where required, reporting child safety concerns as described in our Terms of Service.

5. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can manage much of your information directly in the app:

• Update your profile from the Profile tab

• Control who sees your last name and age in Settings → Profile Visibility

• Manage blocked members in Settings → Blocked Users

• Turn push notifications on or off in Settings → Push Notifications and Notification Types

• Opt in or out of email updates in Settings → Email Updates

• Permanently delete your account in Settings → Delete Profile

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us at feedback@lady-nokids.com or use Share Feedback in Settings. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.

6.1 Deleting Your Account
When you delete your account through Settings → Delete Profile, we permanently remove your account and associated personal information, including:

• Your profile and account credentials

• Your community memberships

• Posts, comments, and reactions you created

• Private messages and connection history

• Events you created and your event attendance records

• Your profile photo and other media you uploaded

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will be signed out immediately. Some information may be retained where required by law, for safety investigations, or in backup systems for a limited period before being removed.

6.2 Consent Records
We keep a record of when you accepted our Terms of Service, including the version accepted and the date of acceptance, so we can demonstrate compliance and notify you of material changes.

7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage for authentication data on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Users
Lady NoKids is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended exclusively for women 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information and close the account.

10. Device Permissions
The app may request permission to access your photo library so you can choose a profile picture, and to send push notifications if you enable alerts. You can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. The updated policy will show a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
